Couple alluding to lineage with ancestors faces on the comb plate. Superb carving with nice details: the man is wearing an elaborate hairstyle and is holding his long and plaited beard as a symbol of wisdom. The woman has an elaborate coiffure too and is holding a baby in her arms as a symbol of fertility. They are both sat on royal stools. Donation Louis Géraud.
