- Two long combs worn by the Afar tribe from the Beja group (or Bedja). Men use to wear two or three teeth combs n their tousled hair when women prefer combs with more teeth. Sudan-Ethiopian border. The hole at the top originally carried on ostrich plume or long feather. The wear of a comb could mean that the male wearer had been killed an ennemy.
