- The liang-patou is a wing-style headdress. It can be made of true hair or black satin material set on a decorated slide bar (visible on the reverse side -see our photo). On the front side, Mandchu women use to decorate the "wings" with jewels or fresh flowers. The Impress Cixi worned a huge one with lots of embellishments.
