- Very refined example of the famous crown shaped comb with a gradation of ball sizes. Made out of blonde tortoiseshell stamped on the back: Auguste PETIT, 7, rue de la Paix. In 1882, this silversmith, famous in Paris between 1850 and the end of the century, recruited Rene Lalique in his worshop at the age of 22.
