- Very rare St Vincent stars set in silver and hinged to a horn hairpin. Called too sea lily, they are in fact sea crinoid fossils, found especially in France (Alpes of Haute-Provence region). In 1855, in the town of Digne-les-Bains, a jeweller had the idea to use them on jewels, but few were made and they are extremely scarce today.
