  • Hard to identify, this wooden comb could be from Ghana or Ivory Coast. Not typically Akan, it displays anyway some similar pattern and design: it is large and flat, it shows a central male figure with a basket on the top of the head. The plate is carved with the same symbols as in the Akan tradition. CERACIRAR and ARAISO are two names (English or French ?)
