- Syrian piece, made by Jewish artisan, most probably 19C. Could be Persian or Ottoman, difficult to say as Jewish communities lived in these areas. The Star of David, an ancient symbol, was (and still is) popular among Jews. Very elaborate repousse decoration, embellished by a dark stone. Nice chains with coin shaped pendants.
