- Antique five-lobed ritual crown or “ringga” made of papier-maché from Mongolia. The motif on each lobe at the top is two dragons chasing a flaming jewel. On each lobe is a small painting of a celestial Buddha, each in his traditional color and gesture. This crown, which dates from the 1900 - 1940', remembers the "Dongba" headdresses from Naxi people (Chinese minority). The Dongba took it from North Indian models.
