These two bronze hair combs commemorate the wedding between the Douyou chief's daughter with the second chief of the Tikar dynasty. The Douyou fetishmen were famous and they said these combs would seal the union between the two tribes. Then the combs were used to foretell the future: the fetishmen consulted them to know what bad or good things would happen in the Gambetikar Douyou village. (Information and donation: M.
