- Group of hair ornaments from Tibet, Kham region. Silver, brass and gemstones (turquoise and tourmaline) set with pitch. Worn on the back or on the front of the hairstyle (see photo 2 by Paul Morse). The ivory ring was strung on a braid of hair.
